I hate this.
At school, and at home, i'm being pressured to choose a career now and stick with it.
i have to choose courses for the next two years that go with that career.
i feel like i'm at a forked road, and once i choose one side, there's no going back, and that's scary.
and at home, i told my mom i might not want to be a writer anymore and she was all "JUST PICK A F%$^ING CAREER ALREADY, OMG, IT'Z NUT DAT HURDD!!11" and she's obviously wrong. It is hard. I also told her I might want to go to college rather than university, and I thought she was going to have a heart attack. ;-;
anyone else have this problem?

once you choose a career, you can change! you can do whatever you want..
dont let those adult authority figures tell you otherwise.

i have that problem, or had that problem. i got a "career" like career and the pay is serving me well and my damn parents dont have to fucking bug me anymore.

start small, do whatever you want to do. its your life. you choose ;)

Try to choose subjects that can go with more than one career. English, maths, science, ICT, Foreign languages, PE and Psychology can go with alot of careers. Remember that if you choose a career that isnt for you, you can always study more, or keep the same subjects and change career dependant on your subjects. Don't let your mam bring you down, it's not her life and the stress will effect your grades. Relax and let everyone elses oppinions go over your head.
