Well I got what is known as ADHG (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Gift) and I take Ritalin.

However, when I take it I feel super hungry. Man I cant eat enough.

But even though I feel really hungry, I have no appetite... I don't know what food I feel like eating.

Is this weird?

Justin, I believe a change in appetite is a side effect of Ritalin. Talk with the doctor who prescribed it, maybe he can adjust the dose or try a different med.

Ritalin sucks.. Really simple..

There is no benefit of amphetamine based Psychostimulants

WOW! I have the exact opposite problem! I take Adderall for adhd. It does wonders for me in school and sports, but it makes me lose my appetite, sometimes I won't want to eat all day.

You just said it was different, so maybe that's his problem.

I can't remember, but I think it was Adderall. My cousin has ADHD and he had no appetite, and became almost sickly thin. Oddly enough, he's still crazy active.

ooo Ritalin....I was on that when i was younger and i gained 30 lbs in two months:( its a really sucky side effect

Hi Justin, I used to take Ritalin (for depression, my doctor was not supposed to give it to me. LONG STORY) it really messed up my appetite I was always hungry but I could not get full or get the feeling to go away, and I hardly had an appetite to begin with.
I would talk to you doctor about this because it is a major side effect.

Ritalin is methylphenidate, not amphetamine.
