What happens to a girl when she has sex for the first time? I herd something happens or it's like REALLY painful or something.

What happens to a woman when she first has sex is the stretching from foreign objects and such protuding inside a woman. Also, it could be the breaking of the hymen membrane if it was not accidently broken previously.

The first time for a girl really hurts due to the breaking of the hymen. And if the girl's hymen breaks she will bleed and it may or may not be painful. But some girls have already broken their hymen due to sports or just by physical activities. Even if their hymen is broken it will still hurt the first time until she becomes use to it.

I know a couple gals who experienced tremendous pain but a few of my friends and I didn't hurt at all.

For those who do hurt, it's either the hymen breaking (see above) or having their vagina stretched. Both of these can be done prior to sex, a few examples being insertive masturbation, rough sports or using tampons.
