Honestly, I don't have time for dating. I mean, with school and friends and everything.
You will get a girlfriend when the time is right. Don't rush because your friends have them.

That may be true, and I know you mean well to help the OP in saying this, but I'd like to add that when you do things out of love, it doesn't feel like a sacrifice.
