Want to know(For Girls)

Right now im very frustrated with my school
I am a punk (with a mohawk and combat boots and everything..) and care deeply about whats happening in the world. I think its my sympathy, if somthing happens to anouther person its almost as though it happens to me; so i care about the wars that are going on the thousands and thousands of people who are starving or homeless (or both) but no one at my school seems to; at least not in the way i care. So while most people in my grade are talking whos going out with who are who likes who i cant say i like anybody. Anyway my question is are there any girls here who care like i do?
it not that i dont think there are i just want to know.

I really didnt mean to imply girls were dumb, how smart you are and how much you care are two completely diffrent things, mostly i posted this becuase i feel so discouraged at times im in 8th grade and the people who have already posted seem much older i guess people who care(in the way that i mean are already rare(as said above) but even further decreased by my age.My signature is partly meant to be ironic:lol:; though i am an anarchist i would (have) voted obama rather than have McCain in office, im not one of those "thier all the same" types of anarchists.

Make sure you really understand what you're caring about. Because judging by the Punk stuff, and the fact that you're borderline bragging about it and "Caring". you sound like you might be trying to be something you probably aren't.

As for an answer to you're question, most of them do care. But they don't try to be rebels, because they understand it's pointless. Rebels are 90's, they got nothing done then, they wont get anything done now.

Society's youth these days have other priorities, some might be materialistic or vain or pointless. That doesn't necessarily mean they're dumb.

Helpmeplz, it's nice to see someone who's genuinely concerned with things going on in the world today- Gods know I wish I could give more of a shit. I think the simplest thing to do is simply be patient and keep looking, and not be discouraged when you seem to be out of luck. I'm one of those folks who thinks there's at least one 'right' person for everyone, so just wait until that fine young lady bumps into you, or hope that you may be lucky enough to bump into her.

I really REALLY did not mean to brag. I haven't felt "better" than someone else for a long time(sevral years). I very much understand how it could be interproted(spelling?) as bragging though desciribing any quality about yourself could imply bragging. Please dont give up on idealism; and maybe the plastic wrapped mainstream rebels were 90s but never could rebellion be stereotyped into a decade or simply a short phase of culture.

Maybe, maybe not. for me the thought of eating meat makes me feel sick, theres a point even within a year of just bieng vegi. that eating red meat again will make you throw up anyway i dont think im going back on that. As for the "caring" thing, its not a "stage" and its not something you can get rid of. The punk stuff maybe my musical prefrances switch alot, but punk has still been my underlying favorite. I dont use any hair gel i use this cream stuff im not sure what its called anyway no oil no animal products.
