Never heard them called that. But I wore them for quite a while. Then they just ended up being too tight down there. Fine around the waist but... Meh.

I always wear briefs because I like my dick to be held in place & supported & not flopping around. Feels more comfortable to me. Usually just wear supermarket own brand, I mean they're just underpants for christs sake. I'm not superman so I dont wear them on the outside.

Dont know if they're what you'd call bikini briefs though, not too skimpy. Over here they're called slips

I wear them most of the time here in US and all the time when visiting in europe with frineds. Most every dude in europe wears the low rise bikini underwear. Got used to it. Then I come back to US where some guy wear pants (boxers) under there pants. Now i'm not sure why. Boxers are so uncomfortable and hot in summer. Briefs are for comfort and practical.
