oh I see. I've studied it a little when linguistics was still my major.

that was supposed to read : "hi. I'm jason. I've studied mandarin for nine months in university. if I make a mistake, tell me!" although since I'm white and thus inherently lack leet character skills, it's probably full of mistakes.

it is a fascinating language, albeit I never got the hang of characters. I'd rather headbutt a steel pike than memorise characters. hell, I'd rather memorise full german declension tables (or since I'm french, get buttraped by them again).
