Maybe there's different sizes where you live? Cause those don't sound right to me, but a C would be bigger than an A.

I know that an '18DD' is the same size as a '40DD'... So, I'm gonna guess that here you are located, the bandsize units are different to where I am... But the cups work the same?

Anyways. A 'C' cup is bigger than an 'A' cup. A '12' band is bigger than an '11' band.

So, an '11C' is smaller around your ribs and bigger on your actual breasts, but a '12A' has a wider band and smaller cups.

If you are thinking about the size of your breasts [which is what most girls refer to] then yes, an '11C' is bigger than a '12A'.

Since the measurement seems different, I'm a little confused. In the US, and other countries that use inches, the number size is the measurement (in inches) around your rib cage, just below your breasts. The cup size, is the difference between the circumference of your rib cage and your breasts (measuring at the fullest point, basically right around the middle of them). If your ribs measure 32, and your breasts measure 33 (one inch bigger), you have an A cup. If your breasts were to measure 34 (two inches bigger), you'd have a B cup, and so on and so forth.

I've deduced that your number measurements must be in centimeters, while the cup differences must be the same--it's the only thing that makes sense, especially if Laura is correct that an 18DD is the same as a 40DD. But, since centimeters are a little less than half of an inch, I the cups would have to go up in 2.5 centimeter increments, in roder to keep the same proportions. So 10AA should mean ten centimeters around your ribs, and less than an inch (2.5 centimeters) of difference around your breasts. The 12A you got today means twelve centimeters around your ribs, and about fourteen around your breasts. 11C would be pretty ridiculous. They don't even make bras in that size. I'm right now a 34(17)B myself, but when I was at 32(16), I could barely find bras the right size. It's even harder to find anything below a 34 in C's and above. The 11C translates to about 20 C-- 20's aren't made in anything large than an A or AA cup size. So if 16C is hard to find, 11C is pretty dayng near impossible. For a guy who wanted to know your bra size, he doesn't seem to know much about what the sizes actually mean. xP

I think those band sizes are australian..

32=10
34=12
36=14
etc...

The cup sizes are the same though.
