I just recently figured out about the cord that attaches to my PSP and PC and lets me put files from my PSP onto my PC and vice versa. Photo's don't take up much space on my memory stick but putting too many photo's on will take up a lot of space. Putting on songs will also take up a lot of space on my memory stick e.g. i put one song on and it took up 4mb of space.

Here is the real question just read the first bit for a little background into this question... What is a good size memory stick say if i wanted to put a couple of songs on and a couple of photos(i would probably put lots of photos on over time and put quite a few songs on over time as well) and while im at it how much would it cost(put how much space the memory stick would have and how much it would cost roughly or the exact cost(p.s. the exact cost would be great(p.p.s. i live in Christchurch, New Zealand if that helps)

I didnt say that it was a substitute mp3 player i was just asking how much a good memory stick is if i wanted to put songs and photos on. and it could be used as a substitute mp3 player because they do play music really well and the limit of songs is varied according to your memeory stick capacity. but i still dont think of them as an mp3 player

Probably 1GB I have a 4GB and I'm thinking of buying a bigger size so I can download games onto them instead of using the UMD's.

They're extremely cheap to buy, so go for a 4GB one.
