Problem with a friend

this is kinda long but i'll keep it short as possible

so i have known this girl for like 2 1/2 years and we are really good friends. i started liking her At about the end of eighth grade. So now we're in the same highschool, but we dont have any classes together or even lunch until next semester which is in about 2-3 months.

SO usually i would talk to my best friend about this and he would help me out.

but she likes my best friend!!! and when i asked him if she likes her back he just said i dont kno0w i might. which really pissed me OFF!!!!

ii= want to talk to her but if she says no i dont want our relationship to be ruined because i asked her out

Well, if shes a good friend, maybe its best not to ask her out- especially since you know she likes someone else.

There are plenty of girls in high school, so why ask out your friend (which will ruin the relationship if she says no, or when you break up) who likes someone else?

well if you know for a fact that she likes your best friend then i personally wouldn't make any moves towards her. she is unlikely to say yes if she likes someone else and as you pointed out, you don't want to risk your friendship. i would leave it for now, you never know, people change, feelings change, you might get your chance with her down the track a bit.

Thats fine, you don't always have to have a girlfriend.
Sometimes its nice to be single :)
