The whole story just seems so intriguing.
But it's just gonna be wayyyy too fricken' mainstream! >:[

And I hateee mainstream with a passion.

How do we stop it from becoming a sell-out? Ohh we can't :/
Like all these screaming girly fans who only like the movie because of the guy who plays Edward Cullen, get a grip :S Or whatever stupid reason.

So yeah my rant is finished.

Have you read the books?

I happened to be one of the screaming fans. Well not screaming, but I love it with a passion. Not because Edward was good looking. The story is AMAZING. I am obsessed with it.

It was really good. The books are way better though.

A love story between a vampire and a human doesn't seem like anything too new or interesting to me.

Sorry. |:

I see it as just another book- not mainstream. It's just like how lots of girls like Jane Austen books. :P

(But it is a pretty cool concept.)

The books weren't mainstream at all. My cousin has been reading them since forever, way before all this movie-hype :|

It's the movie that's going totally mainstream, whether that offends you or not it's the truth.

But at least it's awesome (:

I'm gonna kill the mood right here; watch closely!

The movie is utter garbage; the book is no better. Strings of cliché after cliché, no originality; poor narrative (very whiny and downright stupid), useless scenes, and a bastardization of all the COOLNESS vampires once had (forget that crap that they "sparkle" in the sun... that's retarded).

Sorry girls... even the actors said in interviews that upon reading the books they hated it.

that does kill the mood. good job.

no reason to kill the mood. good job though.

yeah the dumbest part of it was the sparkling skin, I was like wtf when that happened, but still I enjoyed the movie and in some ways it was pretty cool.
