This is one of the many poems that come from my country:
Recess
Ting ah ling,
The school bell rings,
Recess, recess, children screaming.
To Auntie Dawn the children run,
To buy salt nuts, toolum and plum.
Greedy Alvin only begging,
None for you boy says Fat Marvin.
In a corner is John's brother concentrating on his parata,
Sees Miss and Sir by the table drinking mauby,
None for Mabel.
In the schoolyard, no one is sad,
Children are playing, they are so gled.
Then ting ah ling ah ling,
The School bell rings.
Recess ends, it's work time again.
