In that bar at the top, where the UserCP is and Blogs are and such, would there be any possibility of having a link to the diary's up there?

I think GovTeen have that link (they did have anyway). It's a good idea though.

No GovTeen has theirs at the top, you know the featured members forum, they have there link to all the diary's on that.

For the record its called a navbar (short for navigation bar).:P

I'd be in favor of this. The only concern would be if it makes it too cluttered but I don't think it should. And if it does 'Member Blogs' could be shorten to just 'Blogs' if it looks out of balance.

i got an idea you can shorten that to blogs and instead of putting member diaries you can just do diaries

Sorry about the late response. My power was cut off and we just got it back on a few hours ago.

Anyway, for people seeing the site on computer screens with a low resolution (like 800x600 or less) the navigation bar is very crowded as is. I'm running in safemode at the moment, so my resolution is 800x600 and the cursor can barely fit between each link.

So would it be fine with everyone if the link was added to the quick links (which needs to be revised anyway)?

I'd rather not copy someone else's idea unless it's really necessary. After all, we're really not trying to turn Virtual Teen into GovTeen ._.

I really don't think it'd get as much exposure under Quick Links. Removing 'Member' from Blogs and adding Diaries shouldn't make it much different than it is at the moment.

I like the idea... and really,not many people that I know of run at 800x600 resolution anyway.

And under quicklinks it wouldn't get as much exposure. Personally, I haven't opened the quicklinks for months...

No I didn't mean under the quick links. I meant basically we would delete Blogs and Diaries and then make a collapsable tab (like UserCP, Search, and Quicklinks) that says Member Oriented Jazz and under that tab would be the 3 member oriented jazz deals

Well, "Member-Oriented Jazz" is quite longer, and besides, it would hold everything, but if someone wanted to go to blogs, they would have to do two clicks (as well as diaries) instead of a single click. Plus, everything (all three links) are already in the navigation bar now; Social Groups can be found in the quick links. On top of all that, the "Blogs" link is added in with a plugin, so it normally doesn't exist there, but when the template is generated, it's inserted there and properly formatted to be just a link - not a selection in a popup menu. Sorry =/
