Umm.... short term memory, could this have effeced anything?

Alright, last week [.. i think] i slammed my head into a set of lockers hard enough to make me dizzy for awhile. Yeah, not smart, i know i know no lectures please. [i mean it! DON'T lecture me on what i did..]

Well... I can't really remember what happend about five minuets before that, and i've been having problems with short-term memory since. I've forgotten whether or not i went to first period today![i must've.. but..]



Long story short, can a head injury effect memory?

I think that after a long period of head banging, it might, but you never know. Perhaps you hit your head just hard enough.

But I've found myself doing things as an effect of paranoia. Perhaps, maybe even subconsciously, you started thinking of the 'whatifs,' and you eventually started causing yourself doing one. Like you hit your head on the locker, you think, 'geez, I hope this doesn't effect my mind at all,' and then you just started forgetting things, just because you thought it might.

Well... What exactly happened? Did you get a major head ache? Do you think you had a concussion?

Well yes, a head injury can affect your memory, pretty easily i think

Go see a doctor if its bothering you, because we really cant help you other than that.

Lol, i have no clue actually.. hurt for awile.. but idk that was sorta my intention at the time... Um.... yeahh no idea if i had a concussion or not.. i'm guessing no because i'm still alive :P
