A forum programming challenge for kiros

kiros, i saw this type of forum and really like it, you can hover your mouse over the topic you want to view and it will display the first 250 characters of the message in a small box . . here is the link to it , just hover ur mouse over it :)

you dont have to wait for the loadtime to see the basis of the post and if it is crap or not

OK, first of all, I program fluently in C++ and Uscript, not Java, which PHP is most like. And I pretty much only script online things in DHTML or Java (without taking full advantage of classes).

I'm not really familiar with and new phpBB nor did I study other versions persistantly, so I'm not exactly sure if it's possible, based on what phpBB provides already. :what:

Anywho, there might be a MOD already written for this. And if not, then I might get into Java and PHP so I can satify the online world :P

Yeh its a default thing in vbulletin I do believe. There might be a MOD for it.
