Everyone is telling me that i need counselling but i was told that i didnt have any real problems such as an eating disorder, (i try making myself sick but noone knows) and because im not pscizerfrenic.
theyre saying i should have it sooner rather than later. and i know i should. but im only comfortable talking when i want to talk. and whats the point in talking when its not going to change anything. ive already been told that i cant have counselling but then theres this drop in service thing which doesnt even gurantee youll have the same counseller. everyone that walks into my life again goes back out and people try to help me and then give up on me. why should i tell a stranger everything when i know that theyll give up on me, like all the rest.I really dont know what to do. any ideas ?

Why do people tell you that you need counselling?
Why have you been told that you can't have it and who by?
The counselling service should be there for everyone and anyone who wants to use it, regardless of how big or little their problems are. If you are having problems then I would really reccommend you to get an appointment with them.

When you have a counselling appointment, that time is yours. You can talk about what you feel comfortable talking about. They don't force you to talk about anything if you aren't ready/wanting to talk. It is a safe space where you have control.
They don't give up on you. There is a point where counselling has to stop and that can be tough. But, the actual sessions you have can help you so much more.

I went to see the children and adult mental health services once and i told them everything they said at first i had child protection issues because i spent some time at my dads and some at my mums, then they said that i couldnt have it because i wasnt psizerfrenic and because i didnt have an eating disorder
i had an appointment with them and they do give up on people
i was given a leaflet about this other counselling service
i might go in the new year
i dont know

I suggest you keep going there are good & bad counselors so try finding a good one. It can help ALOT

And sometimes its very comfortable telling somebody your problems who you know will listen & who isn't connected to you on an emotional level. And they can offer insight as they are neutral.

CAMHS are not a counselling service, they are a health service for kids who have mental health issues. Their services are in great demand so they have to be selective with who they continue to see. It isn't being harsh, it is just directing the resources to where they are most needed.
Go to the counselling service as it can be very beneficial for you and help prevent you needing to go to CAMHS.
