Who should I tell?

Just say Im gay (which im very curious atm)

Who should I tell, If I told anyone? My best "Boy" friend? Parents? My best "Girl" Friend? Who did you guys tell if you did?

Well unless your TOTALLY, COMPLETELY, ABSOLUTELY (maybe that's a little over board lol) sure that you are gay then just tell whoever you feel should know like really close friends like your best friend. Telling your parents could end up in disaster and that's why a lot of gay/lesbian/bisexual teens don't tell their parents or just wait until they can leave the house like when they graduate from high school. Just remember that just because you're gay, doesn't mean everyone has to know so choose who you want to or don't want to tell wisely.

The worst thing to do is talk about it before you know 100%
But if you are ready, dont be shy about it, be proud of who you are
But you can definitely start with telling your parents, and close friends
If i were gay, I would tell my parents or a single friend first

Ok, I told someone, my (girl) friend and she was totally cool about it and said shed never tell a soul. Im positive im Bi incase you guys are wondering. She even likes this guy i think is really cute myself lol, and george, what do you mean telling your parents could end up in complete disaster? like what do you mean by disaster?

Im glad you can trust someone so much :)

And I think what George means, is that some parents are crazily homophobic, and go so far as abandoning their children if they find out they are gay (or doing lesser things)
Of course its very rare they would do that, and you would know if your parents are that homophobic

Well my mom would totally be ok because she has gay friends herself, she actually asked if i was gay before but i said no, she asked because i was talking about this gay friend i had that hit on me lol. I dont think my dad would like it that much though lol

Congratz on telling your friend, I still haven't told my friend yet so good job on that. :)

Most of the time you can tell how your parents react to someone being gay and that helps them decide whether or not to tell. I personally would never tell my parents until I'm out of the house at college.

From what I've heard from stories of guys coming out to girls and their moms, they a lot of the time had already known or had gotten hints that they were gay. They seem to just know lol.

Would any girl like to enlighten us on how you would be able to tell? lol
