The best line in the world is "Hey, how's it going?" or something like that. Almost any other line someone could give you would sound forced, cheesy, and unattractive to a lot of girls. I mean some girls wouldn't immeadiately roll their eyes and walk away, but why say something that risky?

yeah i'm gonna have to go with the "hows it going". just don't misinterpret their smile as a "he's hot, i wouldn't mind if he came and talked to me" instead of just a human smile that everyone does when eye-contact is made.
