ive got really dry skin on my dick, part from jacking off alto andthe other part being i naturally have dry skin. is it ok for me to put regular body lotion on it or is there something else i can do for it (besides not jack off)?

My understanding is that it's okay to put lotion on the shaft of the penis, but not on the glans. I think it's okay to put it on even there, actually, but if you do then you have to wash it.

I've been having the same problem recently, but I think it might be something more serious. In any case, the situation has been improving significantly in the past few days. All I've been doing is soaking all of it in warm salt water (dissolved 1:25 I think, but I never actually measure anyway; I am just careful not to put a lot in) with the foreskin retracted. And I have to dry thoroughly, but gently especially under the foreskin around the glans.

I assume you mean eczema. That's quite a lot to assume based only on what he's described. I'd sooner assume balanitis or perhaps jock itch than eczema.

But the way he describes it, it just sounds like regular ol' dry skin.

Eczema- A noncontagious inflammation of the skin, characterized chiefly by redness, itching, and the outbreak of lesions that may discharge serous matter and become encrusted and scaly.
Balanitis- Inflammation of the glans penis or glans clitoridis.
Phimosis- An abnormal constriction of the foreskin that prevents it from being drawn back to uncover the glans penis.

Eczema can happen anywhere. Balanitis only happens in the groin area, usually on the glans, and is a lot less common if you've been circumcised, but can still occur. At least if you've been circumcised you don't have to be worried about phimosis. You could do an image search on google for "balanitis" and see if any of it looks like what you're getting.

Again, the way you describe it, it sounds like it's probably just dry skin as you say, but I'm no doctor and it's hard for even trained personnel to diagnose someone without proper examination.

Rub baby oil in
it dosent sting
and it helps allot with dry skin

You should be able to rub it into the shaft and gland
It shouldnt bother it (sting) at all
