Atheist here....but that aside, I'm not going to marry somenoe before I have sex with them unless they are absolutly against it. I feel you need to be sexually attracted to someone as well as otherwise before you marry.

Well the way I see it sex is an extremly important part of a relationship right? I saw this on The Ozbournes once Sharron wants Jack to have sex befor he gets married she dosn't agree that you should have to wait till you get married then she gave a really good reason as to why; wouldn't you wanna know what your partner is like in bed befor getting married, they might be into somthing your not like dominatrix or vice versa (she went into more detail but I'm gettin an eye ache and the screens startin ta bug me). So ya I wanna have sex with my gf befor getting married definatly!......To be honest I don't really even see the point in marrige, I'm not religous, all getting married really is, is a little metal band around your finger.....I mean....Who cares.

As far a positions I won't stick to just missionary, that's unfair to both you and your partner, either or both of you might much prefur a diffrent one, you only live once, it's your life, live it by your own code not by a book.

I don't think its anyone's place to tell anyone else what they should or should not do. Religion is and should be a deeply personal and private issue.

If one person is a committed Christian, then they should feel free to follow what they believe in. However, they should not impose their views on others. The reverse is also true.

I'm an atheist. I don't believe in an afterlife either. But I don't go preaching to others what I think of the Bible or Christianity. You are more than welcome to have your own faith, and what religion you are has absolutely nothing to do with me. I have no right whatsoever to dictate to you what you can and can't believe. Just as long as you return the favour to me.

If you, as a Christian, don't follow the word of the Bible, then it is not the end of the world. Remember that many Christian scholars have different interpretations on what the Bible says. Some bits of it are totally brutal... read the book of Exodus, for example. The Bible is not clear cut on most issues; some people still aren't happy about there being women priests. And that gay bishop in New Hampshire? How can some Christians say this is allowed in the Bible and others disagree?

The answer is as I said: the Bible is not clear cut.

Only you can decide whether you will be punished or not. Whatever way you decide, then everyone should fully respect your right to choose that way, since it is none of their business.

That's what I though. If he can part the red sea, why can't he stop a tsunami. Anyway, I'm a (sort of :? ) christian, but I don't exactly obey the rules. For one thing, I find it very hard to beleive that god spoke to moses, and I think alot of the old testament is utter crap (no offense to any Jewish people). Aaaaaanyway... I see no problem with sex before marriage, plus I think only the catholic church is against it.

I don't know what all of you have against the bible, but I'm a christian and I'm offended. It was written a long, long time ago and the stories in it are very far-fetched so it's definitely not true word for word. The things that are true are the principles and Truths with a capital 't' in it. It shouldn't be read and believed word for word; it should be read with an open mind and by somone who can read in between the lines. So just please be respectful about others' religions.
