hi.
my name comes from an inside happening at my old secondary school so pay it no mind.
I'm a college attendee, currently majoring in computer science and minoring in french literature. weird combo, I know, but my talents are as great as they are numerous.
(a lot of) random infos about myself. use in a conversation at your risks and perils :
-I'm 18.
-I live in canada. I am an acadian. guess my province for brownie points.
-I speak french and english fluently, and german and mandarin chinese not fluently. the only reason I learned chinese was to hit on the chinese girls (slick, hehe), but as I am much too shy for that, it only serves as general knowledge.
-as a follow-up to the second statement : I suffer from yellow fever. this is strange since I'm definitively not an otaku. to each his own, I s'pose.
-I'm a laid-back kind of guy, but I'm also definitively not very social but I try my best.
-my favourite painting is a friedrich. incidentally, this one :

I have a reproduction of it on my bedroom wall. it is very soothing and I can actually emotionally relate to the wanderer, myself wandering alone through life, completely free from any bind and vertically displaced from the world. whenever I get programmer's block I look at it and it fixes everything.
-my favourite artistic period is the romantic period. type "baudelaire" and watch as I won't shut up.
-I listen to mostly anything, from power metal to jrock (as a testament to my wide tastes : ayumi hamasaki - alterna). Two things I can't stomach : rap and bubblegum pop. even country is fair game, and I do love opera.
-I am currently single and not actively looking for a relationship. I'm too busy admiring the sea of fog to come back down. if a relationship comes by, fine. if it doesn't, fine. I've been unhappy actively looking for one and I learned my lesson.
-I am a part of the rare atheist right movement. that is, I'm a republican that doesn't believe in god. it's like having your pants stuck on a barbed fence. neither side (rep or demo) wants you, but you're stuck there and both sides like to throw you stones.
-I am prone to excessive self-esteem boosts and equally excessive losses of self-esteem, making me look arrogant or apathetic depending on the time of the day.
-I have numerous interests. I amateurly study linguistics, sociology, psychology and law, in addition to my major and my minor. one could say that my dream job would be simply being a scholar.
