breakups :(

well its official and its not good news, but 2 of my really good friends have broken up. i love adam and i love tiffany heaps. they are both good freinds to me. but now things have gotten really awkward. because not only have they broken up, but they seem to now despise eachother completely, if i talk to one of them, its like the other takes offense to that and that i have taken their side. which is stupid since i don't know what happened anyways.

so i didn't know about the break up until church this morning when adam told me. then during church i had tiffy sitting next to me on one side, and adam sitting next to me on the otherside. as soon as church finished they both started talking to me like it was a competition to get my attention. then when i seemed to answer to what adam was saying first, tiffy got pissed off and walked off. now i feel like i'm torn between my friends and its a position i don't want to be in.

i don't know what step to take next. do i call both of them and tell them that i'm still friends with both of them and they have to deal with that? or do i just leave it and hope things cool off enough that they might start talking again? or are there other options? this situation sucks! they were such a good couple and i hate they have broken up, but i guess they had their reasons to break up. meh! :(

I would tell them that you don't like being in the middle of their bickering, and that you will be both of their friends. Make sure they know you're not favoring one of them, so spend equal time with each of them.

Sometimes tough love is in order here. They are competing over u. You should tell them "both of u have me, or none" They will bound to get mad if u seem to favor one over the other. So u just have to let them know ur on both sides yet no one side. You love them both so u should be with both.
