My brother called me today and he updated me on whats been going on like he's spending every weekend with my dad and thats surprising since they've never really got along. He also mentioned that my dad wants to come get me I told him that I'm not ready to move yet(I'm still trying to save up), but I would love to go down there for Thanksgiving. I'm happy because I haven't seen my dad for about 6 or 7 months and my nephew will also be there. I was just thinking right now that I could possibly find a job and live with him for about a month and in January go and get an apartment with my cousin in the town that he goes to college to (the same school I'm going to go to). So here's my delimma I could either go down there stay a few days and come back where I know I have a job and I know I can save up or I could stay there apply to a few places and find a job I could possibly get a job fast since it's my hometown and my dad knows about everyone there(so do I).

Well the safe thing to do is to just go for a visit, but if you really want time with your dad that might be worth the risk of delaying to your plans of moving out. It all depends on what your priorities are.
You could talk to your dad about this idea and explain to him that you're trying to save up money and will need a job - I'll bet you could convince him to do a little poking around and find out exactly how hard getting a job would be before you have to make up your mind.

well the decision is yours it sounds like your hometown is better since like you said your dad knows mostly everyone but hey it's my opinion

Axel I did ask a question if you would have took the time out to read it you would have saw it.
I just talked to him on the phone and he's going to try and make some arrangements for me to get there and he mentioned that if I ever want to come back he'll come get me. He also hadn't had a drink in 6 months and is working so he's doing great. I'm just going to go see how things are and try and get my mind around my future plans. I might try and stay or idk whatever I just need to think about it lol.
