About three or four days ago, I met a kid from 11th grade that told me he would get me high. I expected marijuana, but instead, he slipped me some Tylenol 3 with Codeine pills before class started. I decided to take them towards the end of the day, since that was science and it was my least favorite class, I figured it would be fun to get high. Once I took the pill, though, I realized that it might kill me, so I had a full-blown panic attack. I had to fake dizziness so I could go to the nurse's office and tell her what had happened. She told me the only way it could have killed me was if I was allergic to it, and to, of course, never take pills from strangers again.

After I got back from the nurse's office, I felt really happy. My whole life felt good. People were saying "Hi" to me for no reason, I was making my friends laugh, I was just happy to be alive. Even on the bus ride home I was excited. I was shaking with happiness. At first I thought I was just because the pill hadn't killed me, but later I realized the pill probably caused those feelings. And plus, when I got home, I found out my sister and my sister-in-law are both pregnant, so that was really good news.

Everything's gone downhill since then. The person I sit with at lunch doesn't like me anymore because I quit letting her sit with me on the bus (I was pissed because she sat with someone else on the bus, so I figured I would just show her how it feels), one of my other best friends has been depressed for stupid reasons like not being able to find cigarettes, and all my guy friends keep making mom jokes and shit when it's uncalled for, so it's impossible to have a conversation with them.

I don't know if everybody else was just in a good mood when I took the pill or what, but I've started to think I want to take it again. Things just went downhill ever since the day I took it, but when I was high, I was really happy, and everyone was being nice to me. The only thing I want is to be liked. I figured I could just take them few and far between so I won't get any unhealthy side effects.

What should I do?

OK the Tylenol 3 did not make you all happy. It has codeine in it and it may make you dizzy but it is not going to make you feel happy. It is a pain killer.

So the feeling of being happy may have been because nothing was wrong with you and you were just on a natural high. Natural high are better and safer for your body.

People were being nice to you because you were happy. People are going to be nice to you when you are happy because you are more approachable when you are happy. It is no fun being around some one who is not happy.

Well personally I don't think you should get high just to get friends but that is your choice and you have to live with your chice.

I've tried to act happy, and everyone else still either ignores me or insults me. I feel like the whole school is against me sometimes (Even the teachers have been mean to me for no reason before). I see everyone else with their best friends joking around, and I don't feel like I have that.

A depressant depresses the CNS, thus making you tired and relaxed. That has nothing to do with making you sad. All opiates cause euphoria.

absolutely ridiculous. Pain killer's will make you feel good. The codeine is what made you feel so happy.

Tylenol 3's wont make you high I've had them for years

You should not take anything to try and avoid problems because they will not go away when you come down or sober up they'll be there and probably bigger or worse than when you left

You're school nurse should NOT have let you back to class upond learning you were high on codene.

T3's are a mild form of codene pills, so basically the same thing.

Advice: Um, never EVER take drugs from strangers. In fact, all I can advise you is only take things prescribed to you or that you need to get better (Advil, Antihistamines, etc.)

FFS (for fuck sakes) t3's will get you fucking high... don't tell a junkie that they won't... your best bet is to rail a couple of them if you want to get high but then again this is coming from a junkie... been heavily addicted to cocaine and got in some serious trouble with the law because of it... think long and fucking hard if you want to screw up your life... if you do follow my example, stuff it up your nose, pop that pill, however you want to do it... just don't bitch that noone warned you DON'T DO IT!!! it will fuck up your life and you will have noone to be there for you when you most need it...

Hope that helps your decision... if i could do it all again i wouldn't have ever touched anything i've done but sometimes you make stupid decisions and end up quite possibly going to jail because of it. I'm just trying to have a second chance through anyone on the border of drug abuse. Stay far clear or fuck up your life... NO HAPPY MEDIUM
