Okay, I have something I always wanted to ask.
Whats the maximum age difference between the guy and the girl before its considered...criminal?
I don't like how society thinks (at least where I am anyway) about how it should only be like 2 or 3 years difference.
Is it bad for the age difference to be more so? Would it be sick?
What do you think?
BTW: I don't know if there's already a thread like this, so I'm sorry if there is.

Well any one over the age of 18 is legally to old for you. I would say since you are 13 that the oldest guy you date should be 15. There is too much or a maturity difference in any one over that at your age.
I don't understand why girls want to date an older guy. Usually the girl ends up being taken advantage of by an older guy. Then the guys you age don't want anything to do with you because you have made them feel bad after you dated the older guys.
To be safe don't date anyone over the age of 17 at all. It is dangerous for you and him both.

Oh, but I'm not just asking for myself.
I know the dating limit for me is pretty low, but I have an older sister who is 16.
And she wants to move out and get herself an older bf.
How old is too much for her?

Legally, she can't have sex with anyone 18 years old or over. I think that this is also a pretty good measure of the max. age gap. Anyone older than 19 would, IMO, be an absolute no-no.

Its hard to say really. If she is 16, then is 20 too old? I mean, one of my old friends, she was 16 at the time, she went out with a 23 year old, and he was a really good guy. But things can get dangerous.
I believe that if you're under the age of 18, you shouldn't go out with somebody who is over 18. When you turn 18 I don't think it matters what the age of a person is as long as they aren't younger than 18.

Quite frankly that very much depends on the country you reside in
Which you haven't stated
If you are concerned about telling us
you could easily find your local laws on that issue through google or wikipedia

Anyone who has a job and a place of their own is too old for almost any teenage girl
Call me a bastard but I see it as something wrong... Teenage girls are ahead of most of the teenage boys their age so they want ''mature'' relationships with these strange certainly not mature people who for some reason only want or can get relationships with girls much much younger then them and at much different stages of life..
As to near all things there are exceptions.. And law differs from country to country..

16 years old (18 or even 20 in some countries)

Consider the half + 7 rule.
For example, I am 18.
18/2 = 9, 9 + 7 = 16.
To be socially acceptable, the youngest girl I can date can be 16 and no less. To be honest, I would probably date a 14 years old if she were exceedingly mature (14 is legal in Canada anyway).
This rule is based off the fact that a greater age difference in younger people is percieved more badly than the same difference between two middle-aged adults. The more you age, the more breathing space you have when considering a partner's age.
For example, at 40, you can technically date someone who is 27. I'd say, however, that this is a limit case.
Apply it to the guy if you're looking for who is too old for your sister.
