Nibiru goes in conjunction with 2012 because its supposedly one of the reasons why the world will end on 12/21/2012 and its one of the things that causes many of the other reason why the world will end. What do you guys think of this?

Well... its complete bullshit (no offence). I mean its a really cool idea and everything but nothing like that is going to happen in 2012. We have been able to find thousands of extrasolar bodies, with hundreds of planetoids smaller or bigger than Pluto. This Nibiru thing would have actually been FOUND if it was really headed for earth. If its only supposedly 4 years away from us then we'd EASILY be able to see it by now even... and EVERYONE at NASA would be freaking out. Unfortunately... no. Of all the things that are supposed to "make 2012 happen" this is by far the most absurd and outlandish.

But it would make a great sci-fi movie!

Well I'm an open minded person so I don't necessarily think things like this could never happen. They said that by like 2009 you would be able to see it so I don't know.

It's as if they want the world to end. At the end of that day I really hope that nothing happens. Then I can laugh in all these smart ass, depressing people who say 'WE WILL ALL DIE IN 2012!'.

The truth is; No one knows, and no one will know until that day comes. There's a lot of talk about the Mayan calender and some other predictions. In my opinion, it is more likely than Y2K or 6/6/06 because those were based on superstition, while this is based on scientific evidence and accurate predictions. But I must also add; The world will probably not end on December 21, 2012.

Not really. The truth is some people like to SAY that they know the world will end for SURE on that date. Unfortunately it is also true that these people are delusional and about as sharp as a bowling ball. This isn't some "wait and see sort of thing", all of the b.s. evidence that has been provided has either been refuted, its unprovable, or its something we should have been seeing for a long time (and we see nothing) like this planet X thing.

if niburu existed then we would see it coming, also the 12/21/2012 is when the Mayan calender ends, so they were probally like hmm... maybe something bad is going down on that day so lets put that down. And we have like 4 dwarf planets so the Samerians could of thought that some of those dwarf planets were Niburu(or however itis spelled) and i lol'd when i saw Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama with the whole anti chrsit thing. Also people have been predicting the end of day for ages and they were all wrong, So therefore something bad could happen on 12/21/2012 but i highly doubt we will splode on that day.
