electric shavers are bad if you have acne
they spread the bacteria which causes more pimples on previously unaffected areas of the skin

so i've been told anyway

Shaving actually in my expierences keeps you from breaking out, also if you choose to grow out facial hair wash you r face really good because oil tends to stick to the hairs.

I've never had acne, but I have a few friends that did break out a fair amount. They broke out a lot when they didn't shave and grew their facial hair out. I'm not sure why that is, but when they shaved, they didn't break out as much and their skin was actually pretty clear.

Shave your facial hair if that's your desire, but use your regular old manual razor.

If you have bad pimples and topical things like creams / proactiv don't work, you should see a doctor about getting Accutane (Roaccutane in Australia). It cures 95% of people with bad acne and you only have to take it for six to nine months.

By the time I started shaving, my acne had cleared up so I never had to worry about it. I would think that it would be best to use a regular razor if you have acne.

dont use a electric...use the old hang razor and shaving cream..then go down with the razor.....(starting up by the stomach and going down torwards the balls.....(also make sure you rinse off the razor alot with every swipe of the razor))......and when your done...put some type of vasiline on it.....do this daily for about 5 days....and it should be fine
