Of course i said yes.. but then found out that its going to be at a hotel with a pool and a hot tube. pool= swimming= swimsuit then she will obviosly notice my er... problem. and i just dont have the heart to tell her no. ive been avoiding to call her for a couple days.. [the party is in two weeks]

How bad are your wounds? I would say don't cut for two weeks and see if you can heal a little. Then, if the wounds are still too noticeable and there's no way to hide them, tell her last minute that you can't make it for whatever reason.
Also, not everyone swims at these kinds of parties. Lots of people don't. I'm sure you could go in regular clothes and just not swim. :)

well the cuts are on my upper arms.. i dont know if they are that bad or not. i mean they will be very noticable. And in two weeks there will still be scars.. ugh! im so mad at myself... i wish i could get a big magical eraser and make them go away :/ lol if onlyy..

Well I'd say either go in regular clothes and kindly refuse to swim if anyone asks you to; or tell your friend that you can't go. :(
I have pretty bad marks on my wrist and I would die if anyone noticed. I understand how you feel. If you don't think it's worth the risk then just tell your friend you can't go. Sorry I can't be of much help other than that. :(

Maybe wear a skin coloured leotard under your swimsuit. That way you don't miss out and no one will see your cuts or scars.

Or I think you can get swimsuits that stretch over your upper arms. But You would look dorky.
Or you could not swim and tell people you have a skin infection or ear infection your not allowed to get wet. So at least they wont throw you in or anything.

if it's on your upper arm, maybe you could just wear a t-shirt, that's pretty normal for non-competiave swimming

or you could just say its "the time of the month" and so dont want to swim, or wear a t shirt over the top

Oh not that far up. the crease where your arm bends.

I think your best bet is to tell her that you are sorry but can't come. Then, as you've already said, take her out shopping or something the weekend after to make up for it. Or go but wear a top with longer sleeves and make up a reason as to why you aren't swimming.

the ear infection was a good idea
but whenever im at a pool party and im not swimming i feel really left out
so maybe not going is the best idea...

Wear a big T-shirt.
All I can say is that seeing how bad I scar-ed myself when I used to cut motivated me to stop. I still have scars on my legs.
