My name is Cat and I'm 14 years old. I live in Southern California.
I've changed schools a lot because of a custody battle between my parents but I'm finally settled down at my high school.
My parents divorced when I was six years old. I don't particularly like either of them. My mom is married to an asshole that hates my younger brother and me. My dad is dating a woman that could be my sister and is often quite rude to me.
My family is very close minded and they don't approve of piercing (Besides earlobes.), tattooing, scarification, or any other body mods, which I love. They don't let me dress how I want or do my hair how I want.
I'm very close to my brother, but I don't feel like I can talk to him about most of my issues unless he brings it up first as applying to him because I'm scarred that he'll tell my parents.
I cut myself. Not for attention or because I'm suicidal, or anything like that. I do it for control, it's sort of a tattoo to me. My parents won't let me get any real body mods, so I do my own. I don't think I would be classified as a self-harmer, I'd like to consider myself a scarification artist, rather.
I get fairly good grades and I have a few friends, but my home life really sucks. I can't talk to anyone at home or school. I'm just not very good at talking to people in real life. It's much easier online.
I'm always open to making new friends, so anyone can PM me. I don't mind personal questions.
