Does anyone here feel it is a sin to have sex before marriage?

I am a Christian but had sex for the first time and I think it felt really good.

However, is it wrong to have sex before marriage? I mean of God didn't want guys having sex, he wouldn't start puberty until age 21.

Well technically from a biblical sense it is a sin to have premarital sex.

You have to make that decision for your self.

I hope you were using a condom because that is the responsible thing to do.

I wish you luck and be careful in the future and always use a condom.

Isn't wearing a condom against Christianity in itself? Considering you are having sex for pleasure rather than to create?

Anyway... If you're Christian, having sex before marriage is a sin.
However, in today's society, it really isnt much of a problem. Many people have sex before they get married.

It is a sin, however it has become mostly acceptable in society today. Addi explained to me why it is a sin, but I'm not going to try explain it the way he did, so I'll let him do it if he reads this thread.

Yes, its a sin to have premarital sex.
Out of the main denominations, only the Catholics deem the use of contraception to be sinful.

Addi is "Vindication" so if you want to talk to him you can.

Yes it is a sin to have sex before marriage but it being wrong is a person's perspective. Some people feel that it's wrong to do some things while others thing its ok. Its up to you whether you think if its "wrong".

Don't rely on religious dogma or what your pastor says about what is right or wrong; sins written in a 2,000 year old book made by desert people obviously shows very DIFFERENT morals than what we have today. It is up to you to figure out whether the choice you made was right or wrong; no one else can say otherwise.

To be honest religion is what u see it as. I am a christian and i dont believe that God wont allow gays/bi/ or lesbians into heaven because i see a big reason not to, but thats another story. In the biblical sense or what the bible says it is a sin. I dont see it as a sin because its not in my eyes. Anyone could edit the bible so to wrap this up.. Your religion and values are your own, a book doesnt tell u write from wrong.

According to the Bible, sex before marriage is "sexual immorality". Sexual immorality includes adultery, bestiality, homosexual sex, masturbation (kind of) and polygamy.

Mainly, the Bible refers to premarital sex as fornication:

–noun 1. voluntary sexual intercourse between two unmarried persons or two persons not married to each other.

1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.

This itself gives rise to the idea that though the Bible is 2,000+ years old, it is still relevant. "All other sins a man commits are outside is body" thismeans like stealing, murder, etc. "He who since sexually sins against his own body." Basically, if you are sleeping around, you're gonna fuck over your own body.

Do matter how old the Bible is, I see no reasonwhy those morals are not relevant. It is to keeppeople safe, keep people alive, and keep people correct.

I cannot think of a single verse in the Bible that condemns something that is perfectly safe.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Hmm.... how about eating pork? :D Had to say it :P

Well you're right it "technically" condemns masturbation... which is also perfectly safe.

Not eating pork is a Muslim thing and therefore would appear in the Quran, not the Bible.

Um... do you know anything about the Jews? It IS also a Muslim thing although Islam is alot newer than Judaism. The Quran contains many stories shared with the Old Testament of the Bible (the story of Moses especially). Jews were forbidden by God to eat animals he deemed "unclean" such as pigs and bugs and bats etc.

My point was that your comment was irrelevant to Christianity which is the topic of this thread.

And no, I don't know much about Jews. To be honest, I don't care at all about Judaism.

The reason is because porks is considered a dirty animal and for safety, it was not allowed so people could avoid illness from it.

Back on topic. lol

naw the way i see it. if you do it before marriage the more experiance you have and you wont be tempted to see what other people you have. and the more experiance the more pleasure you can give them :)

Umm... YES! God says that his marriage gift to us is sex, and that premarital sex is sin... and the whole puberty thing is retarded! Thats like saying if God didnt want us to backtalk he wouldn't give us mouths, or if he didn't want us to hit he wouldn't give us hands... REALLY!

At this point who cares you can't take it back and it doesn't look like you want too. Oh and that puberty thing your god also gave you free will and if you exercise it sends you to eternal torment so he is not exactly the most reasonable guy.
