I've heard great reviews from various different teen girls and I'm quite curious to pick up the first book and start reading especially since I stay on this farm and have nothing to do all day. So yea next pay check =psp games and twilight book.

Hi, my name is Autumn and I am addicted to Twilight.

I must admit. I thought my sister was crazy when she brought it home from work one day after borrowing it from a friend. Jamie+vampires? No way.

I had picked this book up numerous times in the library and thought "Vampires? How stupid can a book be?" Kristine read this in about 3 days, before Jamie had a chance to start it. I then took it from Kristine who basically said "Oh. My. God. Read this. Or you will die." I read it in 2 and a half days.

I was hooked. I have finished the series. I am counting down the days till the movie and my sister and I are going. We have pre ordered tickets already.

Sarah got me addicted to them back in June.
I read the first three books in 2 days.

The last one took me a few days because I was working A LOT.

Sarah and I are going to see the movie next Friday = ]

I watched the movie first and now I'm on like page 62 of the first book. it's so girly, but it's kinda interesting and plus I need to read more so I like reading it. I like that I saw the movie first so I can visualize everything much better.

My niece won't shut up about it either.

I mean it's a good thing that teen girls are reading...but what kind of crack is supplied with the book to be able to make MY NIECE READ?

Even girls my age...when I want to discuss literature I get hit with "Twilight". That's...not what I implied by literature.

It's really popular in america...if you haven't been able to tell from this thread! :-)

But honestly, I had never heard of it until the film was realesed over here. It's done ok..but not as well as in america.
It's a bit...you know, teenage ish and american and I've seen it all before kind of thing.
But meh.

Twilight is like every stereotype stereotypical teen girls enjoy rolled into one series.

Okay i like the story, edward Is to drool for! BUT, the books are complete crap. THey are so badly written, and if it wasnt such an amazing story i would have stopped after the first page.

and the last book sucked! WHAT a build up, to a battle that never happened. Too much lovey-dovey stuff and not ONE important character died.

they said it's like the new Harry Potter, but at least Harry Potter had the decency of killing SOME of the characters.

Personally, i've read much better vampire-romance books. (example: The Vampire Diaries) everyone i show it to, agrees.. So if you liked Twilight READ the Vampire Diaries.

L J Smith is an amazing writer, by far my fav. I love everybook i've read from her.

Meyer came up with a good story, but honestly i am not interested in her other book.

Ps. I hate the OMG EDWARD, bullshit.

i have an appretiation for art, and that was written to please the reader.

Books are not supposed to be written to please anyone, they are written to tell a story.

Art evolves in its own, that wsa forced and honestly horrible.

how disappointing. After i read the last page i wasn't even left curious of what would happen next. Good book always!!! leave you wondering what could happen next.
