Thank god this hospital exists! TEG; my nearest hospital, is like a 8 hour wait to get through triage.
I got a cut like, a month or so ago on my ankle from a piece fo wheat while I was walking through a wheat field. I'ts still got a scab on it, and doesn't seem to be healing much. Is this soemthing I should see my doctor about?

how did wheat cut you? isn't it a kind of grass?
anyways, probably not. Sometimes cuts take awhile to heal, especially if you've picked at it a bit. If it's not infected, it's probably fine

Chances are it hasn't healed very well because the tissue on the skin there is usually pretty tough. Thus, making it harder to heal. It should be okay, just keep it covered, dont pick it, and keep it clean.

My view is that if your wound has not healed in one month, then you should definitely seek medical attention. However, going to your local ER is not the best way to handle your issue in light of the non-urgent nature of your problem. Can you schedule an appointment with an area doctor? Also, does your school have a nurse on duty? Sometimes a school nurse can do the job and determine the seriousness of your issue.

If it isn't infected I would say you're fine.
Some cuts do take a fair amount of time to heal.
Have you been picking the scabs at all?

I wouldn't go to my local ER if I had a broken neck, id go downtown. But yeah, I'd see my doctor. I got to online school, and in Canada (atleast Ontario and Québec) there is no school nurse.
