You're exactly right; nipples are very sensitive because they contain a lot of nerve endings. Not as sensitive as the mouth and genitals, mind you, but senstive enough. However, this isn't true for everyone - some girls, especially those with bigger breasts, are less sensative there.

Yes the breast have a lot of nerve endings just like the penis.

The male has sensitive nerve endings on his nipples too.

Women's breast become sensitive during her menstruation cycle too.
