When you're listening to music do you ever get these images in your head that feel so real because of the music?

For example...

Everytime I listen to Clocks by Coldplay, I can see and almost feel myself slowly jumping off of a cliff into the ocean and immersing beneath the waves.

Or everytime I listen to Arms Of The Angel by Sarah McLachlan, I can see myself many years down the road, crying at my mom's funeral and it almost feels real even though my mom is alive and well.

Ya, those types of images.

Yes I do

depending on the song
they can be uplifting and heart warming
comforting
full of raw rage and pain
etc....
Its part of why I love music so much
the effect it can have on ones soul is immense
Everything has a pulse, a beat

"Trouble" by Coldplay, for some reason, makes me feel like I'm walking down a snowy street in the winter with nowhere to go.

I'll give this some more thought.

Any song I listen to I can imagine so well. Like thats one of my talents, I can actually calm down after a while listening to relaxing music. But no matter what I'm doing, phone conversations, reading, listening to music, whatever the image is so vivid.

Right now, I'm listening to "Your Star" by Evanescence.
This song makes me feel like I'm going through the worst high in my life, falling to the floor and seeing my entire life flash in front of my eyes.
