well, how do you access the cookies/page visit history folder on Windows XP? i know how to delete them, but i need to access these folders!!
if you don't reply, i won't be on VT for a long time, because my parents have warped visions of this website and for some reason believe it is porn, and i have to delete this website from my browser.:(

Depends on what browser you use. for IE it would be
"C:\Documents and Settings\"username"\Cookies"
That should work if its firefox, just hit ctrl+shift+del and delete user form and cookies, then go into history and delete the relevant history, and to make it looks realistic goto a few of the sites you usually look up

For IE, go to Tools>Delete Browsing History>Then it has Temp Internet Files, Cookies, etc.

You history is stored in two locations
1. C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Cookies\
2. C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\
(Where "C:\" is the location of your Windows installation)
The second location also stores the various pictures and copies of web pages for faster viewing. (For the more technical members, it's the browsers 'cache' location)

There's really no reason to lock this right now as it could be relevant to another's interests.
We'll keep it open for a while.
