I do. I'm 19 and I was diagnosed about eight years ago. Pleased to meet you!

I don't personally have it, but I know several people that do and understand it more than most people.

I know a lot about it because some members of my family have been diagnosed with it.
I find it really interesting.
I know and understand a lot about the way "aspies" think, communicate, socialize, imagine etc. So if you wanna talk, you're more than welcome :)

Well we are, but then again we're not. I like to think of it as being very different flavors of the same thing. I've met quite a few Aspies and its amazing how many similarities there can be between two people who seem so completely different on the surface.
Most people who meet me wouldn't know I was any different from everyone else; some people would describe me as merely being "weird" and/or "unique". However, everyone who really gets to know me well eventually sees that it's a deeply embedded part of me that makes a huge impact on my daily life. It keeps getting harder and harder to see though; I've gotten very good at disguising my symptoms over the years.

I was almost diagnosed with it about 2 years ago. But I didn't display all the symptoms and at that time I was seeing a lot of doctors and stuff and I was glad I was diagnosed with it but I have a friend who has autism and she says she is happy that she has it so he can live through it and I'm happy for her.

Oh, I was relieved when I was diagnosed! I knew there was something wrong and so did my parents, but I kept hearing from so many other people that I was probably just being lazy or something. It was nice to finally know what to call it and what to do about it. Of course, I would have preferred it to be something curable, but life just isn't that easy. But I've had the opportunity to meet quite a few adults with Aspergers, and many of them have relatively normal lives.

I am diagnosed with it.
They jumped me from Pervasive Developmental Disorder - Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS) to Asperger's...the label fits me but I'm uncomfortable talking about it.
What I'll say about it is this though : I disagree with the view that Asperger's is a difference. It's an illness that should, and must be treated. All Asperger's has ever done for me is burden me. I wish I didn't have that "difference", and I don't care much for the supposedly different point of view autism confers to me. It's problems. Just problems.
Furthermore, "aspie pride" proceedings are ridiculous. It's like expressing pride concerning hair color. It's especially ridiculous when expressions of aspie pride develop into neurotypical hate-fests.
While I don't suffer since I have known nothing better, the more I age, the more my inabilities are evident and become a burden to carry. It's tiresome. The way my brain is wired is tiresome. I just wish there was a way to make it magically disappear. Alas, there is none.

Jason as I've said before I like & understand your attitude
But I can assure you, you would definately be different even without the Aspergers.
I can't say I exactly know anyone who has it.. But I definately fit some symptoms but hey I fit symptoms for almost any mental illness imagineable
