How do you erease the history on your computer

It depends on where you want to erase it from.

If you want to erase it from your browser, you can look in the "Tools" tab on top if you're using Firefox, and hit the "Clear Private Data" option. It will open a thing where you can select what you want to erase.

It will probably be the same on other browsers, though it might be named something different.

In Windows, you can go to Control Panel | ... | Internet Options and delete it there.

ha 2 threads on this. This is why I like having my own computer:P no need to delete it then. just look at my other post in the other thread if you still need an answer

Actually you can still access it after its been deleted if you know how to do it right. If you really wanna get rid of it, try downloading a program called CCleaner, which overlaps the history file so that its a lot more of a secure deletion.

www.ccleaner.com

CCleaner does a lot more than just deleting someones history, cookies, etc by the way, so when you open it you can see what your deleting.

this is a thread made about a day ago. it is about generally the same thing. and its the same route to deleteing history, cookies, temp. internet files, etc.
