okay, ill try and put in as much detail as possible so its easier to answer. im due for my period, and i have yet to have any symptoms. ive already taken two pregnanycy tests and both were negative, heres the thing, i read that if im sick my period can be delayed; well, for the past two weeks ive had a chest cold and a few weeks before that i had a bladder infection, i might even still have it. but the thing thats bothering me is, i think im not pregnant but my bf is freaking out. do u think im pregnant? i dont..but just to be sure, id like an outside opinion.

Well, if you need an outside opinion, go to Planned Parenthood. It's confidential and free.

There re a lot of things that can cause missed/late periods, including preganacy. You should get it checked out by a professional, and while you're there, get that UTI and chest cold addressed, too. Maybe some condoms as well.

There isn't a planned parenthood in every city though, but that's a good option.

That doesn't mean your pregnant as well. You never know when your going to have your period so you can get worried if you don't have it when you think you should.

The bladder infections and everything else could be something different but yes if there is one in your city go to a planned parenthood.

Just be truthful with your boyfriend if you want to explain your problem to him. Just practice safe sex.

i do practice safe sex, every time we use a condom. we plan to go to planned parenthood asap, but that probably wont be until friday :/ is there really a possibility that im pregnant? im always safe...

There's a million and a half reasons you'd miss a period other than pregnancy, so there's no point in panic yet. Whether or not you use protection it's always a possibility when you're sexually active, but the odds are very slim if you're using protection. The odds are even slimmer if your coming up with negative test results after you expected your period to start - most pregnancy tests detect pregnancy even before you miss your period. So I think that it's highly unlikely that you're pregnant. Women miss periods for no apparent reason all the time.

Generally stress and anxiety can delay your period... so worrying about it doesn't help. I'd say if the pregnancy tests were negative, you should be safe.

Go to a hospital and get profesional results and show them to your guy, and if all is safe you should makes plans between your two so you wont be in this pregnant situation again..even if its just you thinking you are.
