What kind of education have you attained?
How far do you plan to go?
And, when you get where you're headed (or if you're already there,) what do you want to be, what do you want to do be doing with your life when it's all said and done?
I didn't think about doing this, but here is a little chart of the age and normal grade in the United States, so that people from different countries can compare.
(I use the "Forever Blue" theme, so it might be hard for others to see.)

I've got a good idea of how education works in other countries, but I live in the United States.
There are a few exceptions to that: some parents keep their kids out of school until they turn 6, some kids don't have to go to school when they're five or six, some have to repeat a grade, etc.

What kind of education have you attained? I have a high school diploma. In my first year of college.
How far do you plan to go? I'll say my biggest plan. Graduate with a double major (music performance and criminal justice) and go to law school like 5 years after that. Maybe 10 so I can save more money up for law school.
And, when you get where you're headed (or if you're already there,) what do you want to be, what do you want to do be doing with your life when it's all said and done? Using both of my majors. Become a lawyer and have a second career of performing in operas or something.

What kind of education have you attained? I'm currently a sophomore in high school...
How far do you plan to go? College (I'm not sure how far in college just yet), unless I join the military or do something else with my life...
And, when you get where you're headed (or if you're already there,) what do you want to be, what do you want to do be doing with your life when it's all said and done? I either want to be an author, a songwriter, a poet, a Creative Writing teacher (which could allow me to be an author/novelist or poet in my spare time anyway) or join the army/marines/merchant marines. I'm also interested in law enforcement, law itself, and computers. I really could become anything at this point, though I have no idea what I want to do with myself. I have a love for guns, but I also have a love for writing. With that I can say I will probably end up writing about guns. 0.o

Why kind of education have you attained?; Well, I'm a junior in High school. I was so smart, that I skipped sophmore year.
How far do you plan to go? To be honest, me and Noor have been thinking about it. We both want to join the peace core. I know its a risk but after college (Medical school) Cheyenne would be 5-6 and she could come.
And, when you get where you're headed what do you want to be? I see myself as being some sort of doctor. Just someone who helps people when they need it the most.

What kind of education have you attained? I'm in 11th grade, but I'm being homeschooled so I'll get a GED sometime during my senior year to prove I'm highschool level.
How far do you plan to go? I want to get through at least college. I haven't decided where to go though. I'm going to major in computer science.
And, when you get where you're headed (or if you're already there,) what do you want to be, what do you want to do be doing with your life when it's all said and done? Well, I know I want to live in London, but I really haven't decided on what exactly I want to do. :D

What kind of education have you attained? I didn't make it past the ninth grade. I was in my second year of ninth grade, taking one sophomore course and was considered ninth grade level for everything else. I took online classes both my first go-around as a freshman, and the second time when I hadn't put in the effort to earn the credits to move up. I took them because I couldn't get a transfer and I didn't want to go to the local high school. I gave up on the courses one month into the school year last year. This would normally be my junior or senior year, but my mom wouldn't sign the papers for me to skip eighth grade and I eventually got burned out and quit. I go to take my GED test on the third of next month.
I don't feel so bad; I took a placement test recently, and I scored 12.9+ in reading and a 11.0 in math. I guess I'm not so stupid after all.
How far do you plan to go? I plan to get at least a two-year college education. I either want to work in the health care field or with computers, and I'd eventually like to become a writer one day. I am even considering majoring in criminal justice when I get to college sometime in the next nine months. I'll figure it out when I get there.
And, when you get where you're headed (or if you're already there,) what do you want to be, what do you want to do be doing with your life when it's all said and done? My main two career choices right now are registered nursing and graphic design. I have time to decide and I know that I may change my mind when I get to college. Either way, the main attraction of any career choice would be the opportunity to help other people.

To update, I have my GED in hand with a higher than average score. I have applied and will soon be enrolled at the local community college for the spring semester. I really want to do nursing, but at this point, considering my life and the fact that I don't have much to fall back on, I have to consider which option (health care or computers) would take longer, depending on the specific area that I'd like to go into, as well as giving deserved attention to job outlook.

I'm a junior/year 12... Transferred from Canadian high school to a boarding school in the UK.
I actually plan on going through the whole college/uni deal, though I'm not really sure why. I don't really have much in the way of career ambition. I'm a bohemian. I just want to do what I love and bus tables to get by. It sounds kind of fail, but... yeah. I'm just trying to keep my options open in case I change my mind and want to go into biochemistry. :P

So, my plans have changed. My loans will not be posted in time so I will not be starting school until August. I plan on taking a three-semester LPN program, and maybe a bridge after that. I will be lucky if I can make it through the LPN program, not because I lack the drive to finish, but because I lack the financial support. I'm just going to take it one day at a time and hope that everything turns out.

My ultimate goal is to become a fully chartered clinical psychologist.
Currently, I'm in my first year of a three year university degree (psychology). I am hoping to get on a fast-track that makes it possible for me to start the doctorate in clinical psychology which is funded by the NHS. Once I have completed the doctorate, I will have achieved my goal and be able to work as a psychologist.

I left Secondary school in July with 13 GCSE's. Currently I am studying AS levels in Psychology, English Lang, RE and ICT. I'm hopefully going to do a B.Ed with QTS I would like to teach Primary School (ages 5 - 11), and eventually become a head teacher because i feel that we need more good teachers, as well as doctors etc.
