i reallyy like him, and he likes me. But i dont know if its right, this age difference is bothering me. We have so much in common; were both actors & models.

Hes gives me a lot of space, he doesnt grab me nor try to make a move.
I just need to know if i school go for it.

3 years is a big difference now, esp. in terms of emotional maturity and expectations. This isn't just about sex, it's about the difference in what a typical 14 year old needs V. what a typical 17 year old needs. And the ability of the other one to acually meet those needs.

Having a friend that you share common interests is Ok, the age diff isn't such a big deal b/c the expectations are more limited to those things you share in common. But 'dating' or 'going out' with someone means that you expect to not oly share things in common that are fun, but also the ability to meet each other's emotional needs. And for that to happen, you both need to be at the same place developmentally. So, the age diff now might make it more problematic when either /both of you want something more than friendship based on common likes and interests.

see, at first i would say that its not a good idea. but then i thought when i was 15 i went out with a 17 year old and all those things seemed to just melt away and not matter. but unfortunately i would have to agree with IAMSAM. i just didnt feel i could tell him personal emotional things, i dont know why i just couldnt. i dont know however weather thats because of the age difference or just me.
