Clonidine is mainly used for treating high blood pressure.

Those are all the side effects. How often are you supposed to take the Klonopin? If it's every day, and it causes short term memory loss, try taking it when you wont be in social situations until you build up a little bit of a tolerance.

when i first go on meds my first concern is are there side effects because after you get use to a pill they stop working so you have to switch and then you get the side effects.

Those are withdrawal effects, not side effects.

Klonopin is addictive, just like any other benzo.
