Find a time when the two of you are alone and relaxed. Just talk about normal everyday things, and sort of shift the conversation in the direction you want to go. Trust me, its a lot easier when both of you are just talking about things you're comfortable with FIRST. Once the two of you are at ease you do have to make that step though. Just tell her that you have some questions concerning puberty. May I ask what kind of questions those might be however?

Okay... what situations? You don't have to be specific :D
Do they have to deal with relationships/men?

You could just come out and talk about it. Even if she doesnt really like talking about it with you, its sort of an obligation for parents to discuss these issues with their children.
Just tell her you need information on what she did in these situations when she was your age - im sure she won't really mind talking to you about it.
