i'm scared now.

at night, i get dangerous to myself.

i'm afraid that i'll do something to myself, and not rember what hapened.

Sometimes i'll wake up and find marks on myself that weren't there before, and can't remember how it happened.

Question's simple, how can i make sure that i CAN'T hurt myself.. it seems like the only way would be to somehow make my arms imobile, but that's really impractical

help?
i really dont want to hurt myself again..

Wow. It sounds like sleep walking, without the walking. The best thing to do is to see a doctor. He/she will guide you to what to do. That's the safest and best thing to do really, other than that, i don't know how we can help unless someone else has gone through something like you. Hope you sort this out soon.

like, i remember last night. it was pretty bad[can't stay still.. ], but i don't think i did anything more seroius than digging my fingers in my arm [and my nails, are short, so i CANT seroiusly harm myself with it]

don't think anways.

I had that once...
I woke up with red scratches on my chest. Not deep, sore ones, just red lines, like someone who had drawn them on with a pen.
Does this happen every night? If so, a doctor will be able to help you. Or at least know what to do.

Oh, well like i said, go to the doc anyway. At least he/she may be able to help you, or tell you why your doing this.

Well the best way to keep from harming your self is find a friend or someone you trust to talk to. When you are thinking about harming your self call, text IM or talk to this person. I am sure there are people on here that you can talk to and who will give you some great advice.

If you want you can contact me, I would be happy to talk to you and help you, if I can.

no cell, computer in living room

and that's rather dificult when you're expected to be in bed

There have to be options, i know this [guidence councler is NOT one of them at the moment.. lets say i've had bad experiances with these people].

this might be stuipd, but do you think wearing gloves would help? [not my fingerless ones, obviouslly]

Hm, helped some... i don't think i did anything. 'tis rather dificult when nails are covered and i WON'T bite through fabric [don't ask why... i don't know, but it works as a saftey kinda]

let's see how well this works...

wear gloves and take away all sharp objects around you, thats the best advice i can give.

How are you feeling before you go to bed? If there's any connection to feeling bad before you go to sleep and then waking up with scratches, making sure you get all emotions out before bed could be helpful, I guess?

I'm really just taking a shot in the dark, though. >_>

:/ Good luck.
