Could you tell us what drugs you have done, and what drugs you are addicted to.

My story: I started out at about age 11, i smoked some hash with my sister. At first i thought it was herion and i was completly against the idea, but i trusted my sister and ever since then i've been smoking marijuana.

At age 14 i probably got drunk for hte first time, every week on a friday i would go out with alot of friends and we would all get drunk or smoke pot.

At 15 i tried cocaine with my sister on Christmas day, i don't know why im doing this, but i probably have a problem..

When i started college (im 16 now) i tried exctasy, magic mushrooms, poppers and crystal methamphetamine.

The worst of all, i have to say is Crystal Meth, its super addictive, it made me hallucinate on the comedown, i was paranoid about people looking at me through their windows, i could hear people talking abuot me.. That lasted for about 3 days.

The moral of the story is, drugs are bad, they turn you into a different person. I would probably have a girlfriend and be a top grade student if i never tried drugs, id also be alot healthier.

I started smoking 2 years ago, and im on 20 a day or so! Im hoping to be giving up smoking this new years!

Currently im addicted to cigarettes and weed, and i really want to do exctasy again, the other hard drugs i didnt particularily like.

Please share your story, what you have done, and what your addicted to.

but at 13..like later yes i was still doing it every once in a while and late 13... i got drunk (went to school like that) did more and more weed.. went to school like that.. etc...it stopped getting so bad after my friend went to alternative (like a school for bad kids) cuz he got caught with it..

14 (a day after i turned it) i got FUCKIN STONED off my ass and i made a post about it..lol it was crazy.

now i still do weed more often now (like..every week w/ peoples) and get high....and if i have alcohol yes, ill get drunk off of it...depends

Lets see I got drunk the for the first time at 13, still drinking today at 14 1/2, started smoking ciggs at 12 addicted at 13, smoked the occassional joint at 13 and 14 ain;t did it in 3 months now!!!!!!!!!! Tried pain killers, oxy cotton, vikadin and zantax too at 13, and I've also huffed air fresshner. Extasy can be dangerous, you should always know your pills are from a good source, otherwise you can get dangerous ones that mgiht kill you, quite rare but it happens. Never drink too much or too little water, too much and your brain will get drowned, too little and you will dehydrate and pass out.

LSD and ketamine are dangerous for your mental health, not your physical so much, ketamine is probably more dangerous for your physical and mental health than lsd, as its a dissasociate, your mind is in another zone completly.

Those drugs are very dangerous, id suggest you not try them.

1st major drunkenness was at 13
dont drink anymore after too many bad experiences with passing-out and throwing up, getting very drunk during the day etc.
weed at 13...and have done a lot since(now im nearly 16) and suffering soo much from psychosis and paranoia.
its a fucking horrid drug even though it is viewed as relitivly harmless, dont be fooled.
poppers...cheep though fucks up your nasal passage and can put you in a coma.
tamazapam(dont no how to spell it) a few times. pretty good tranquiliser but hard to get hold of, must be prescribed.
white widdow - weed with bits of crack in it. strangely good but nasty too.

k, i'm 19, .. started huffing, thanks to people who already knew how to do it, at the age of 8 when i started to self injure, not cut yet though... any way, huffed anything with a fume starting at 8, smoked pot 13, drank 14, pills (everyone muscle relaxer, pain killer, downer, upper, and ones i didnt know) 14, morphine patches, coke, chewy, meth, albuteral when its not spray but white, x, shrooms, nox, every diff stage i tried.. i kept the ones i had before up.. it got to bad.. i have been in rehab twice buy the time i was 3 months after bein 18, juvy, jail, mental hospital, and.. am going back to rehab in a couple weeks,

would have to say, i'm addicted to all of them, i just switch em... the bad ones to get hooked on r pills (for me methedones) and crys. meth, i'm tryin to kick alchy right now... i have 10 days sober from alchy, the rest, dunno, a few months or more, its a hard path i've tried and failed, but thats why i gotta keep tryin, if i dont i will be dead, i've overdosed, woke up in ambulances, passed out in the snow, blackouts, all by the age of 18.... its no fun guys trust me,

I smoked hash once in my life, a friend brought it down so i thought id try it. It was really shit stuff so it didn't affect me, i just got really hungry.

Oh, sorry. I didn't mention the negative effects.

Extasy makes you feel great, normal but paranoia and fear etc all the bad emotions just don't exist when you are on it.

But like everything, when you go up you have to come down.

After using extasy the next day your brain has less than normal levels of seretonin floating around, which means its harder to feel happy, and can lead to depression, this can last hours, days or weeks.

Also one dose of extasy changes brain structure, and messes with brain chemicals, permanently. Wether this has a good or bad outcome can be debates, but to be frank, anything that changes you permanently is dangerous and you shouldn't go near it.

Also extasy slows down the rate in which you process water, so if you drink say 2 or 3 litres of water in an hour your brain can drown yourself, litteraly, too much water on the brain = sezuire, brain damage or death!

Speed increases dopamine and seretonin levels in the brain to extreme levels. This makes users feel like GOD, more energetic than an athlete and as a result you talk too fast (which is why its called speed), you can say a sentance really fast and fuckup halfway through the sentance or whatnot.

Extasy is not physically addictive. Speed is extremly addictive, and is far more damaging to the brain and body than extasy. It can make you look like a 40 year old when your about 20.

Could you explain why Marijuana is a gateway drug, this is an ongoing debate.

If marijuana users want a stronger hit, whats the difference from say someone drinking coffe thinking it doesn't effect them strongly enough so they take speed or coke to stay up all night.

What about alcohol, some people will no longer like alcohol and may decide heroin is a better option.

The most credible aspect of that theory is that, dealers offer marijuana users cocaine or something stronger because they have the drug at that time.

Now if drugs were legal and controlled by the government that wouldn't happen.

Magic Mushrooms taste of regular mushrooms, except raw and so don't taste very nice, it's not unbearable but it's definatly not a nice taste.

They are not dangerous physically as such, however if you eat too many expect to vomit.

The most dangerous thing is getting the wrong type of mushroom, if you don't get a magic mushroom it could be a poisounous mushroom your eating. if you hit them hardish they should bruise a blueish colour, if they are magic mushrooms.

Eat a small dose (4g dried) or 10g undried. You should see what your in for that way.

Make sure your in a safe surrounding with people you trust and no responsibilities for the day, and no authorities like parents or cops around. Make sure your having fun before you trip and that your feeling comfortable. If you start experiancing bad halulcinations, try changing something in the room like the lighting or music.

Never trip alone!!

The most dangerous risk of doing shrooms is psychosis, which can be a permanent lifelong condition. However this only hpapens in a minority of heavy users but it still can happen to anyone.

Talking to his parents would make his friend untrusting of him. People who have drug issues won't stop even if their parents know about it, all that owuld do will make situations worse.

That's like you and your parents having an argument, and i butt in saying your parents are right. Why should i have been there in the first place?

People generally don't like it when you go around telling them how to live their lives. That's stupid and ignorant, and might make people want to do drugs more in rebelllion to controlling behaviour over you.

no its not a myth i had a friend who did alot of acid and he hit the top of his head realy hard at the worng angle and it released it from his spine and he had a 1 hour trip

The gateway theory stipulates that when you USE cannabis, you are motivated to try harder more dangerous drugs.

I was pointing out that most people, before they use cannabis, use legal drugs. Which would then essentially mean "If you have one beer, your destined to go on and try harder drugs!!"

I think it's more likely that a Drug dealer, sells more than one type of drug, and when your usual cannabis isnt available, you might be offered heroin or coke or something more dangerous.

I wonder how we could cut down on that problem? Arresting drug dealers doesn't seem to work.. drug use is increasing. So....how else do we control and regulate drugs?

I don't believe you. I did the same thing. My aunt had a Heineken, and i thought it was sprite. But when i drank it, i spit it out right away.
