Hydrocodone

Ive been having some bad back pain and i found some hydrocodone in my parents medicine cabinet...should i use it for the pain because all of the tylenol and advil dont work

Yes, you hould never take tylenol or advil, they are very harmful to your body, less so than codeine or morphine(not that those aren't bad and habit forming) But if you have severe back pain see a doc and tell him the tylenol three isn't cutting it and you read it's nto good for the liver either, tell him you demand treatment(possibly chiropractic help), and you need something to ease the pain that is works differently than tylenol three. Don't mention any drug names like lortab or oxy contin or hydrocodone or anything, they'll think you're loooking to get high. BTW hydrocodon won't get you high, you have to take a large dose, which isn't good for oyu probably and i think Lortab and Vicodin(brands of hydrocodone) have APAP(tylenol) in them

Not giving advice here (for my own safety) but I would definitely take one, I had my wisdom teeth cut out and got some hydrocodone and it made all the pain go away, I had a few left overs and now my friends and I crush them up and snort them occasionally, but just ask you parents or your doc about it then you will know what to do

well you AND your friends are incredibly stupid, you should definately DO YOU RESEARCH BEFORE YOU "SNORT" ANYTHING. hydrocodone (vicodin) is NOT water soluable, therefore it does NOT dissolve in the muccus in your nasal cavity and it doesn't dissolve in your lungs. the only way you would get high off snorting a hydro is if it dripped from your nasal cavity into your stomach, which would be the same as just popping the pill itself minus all the nasal damage, and lung damage.

i have also heard of people SMOKING hydrocodone, this is an EQUALLLY STUPID idea, pills are not meant to be smoked....period

Firstly, I have to emphasise the point: DO NOT TAKE PRESCRIPTION MEDS THAT ARE NOT SPECFICALLY PRESCRIBED TO YOU!! It can be incredibly dangerous, especially painkillers. Dosage is prescribed to the patient according to their weight.

If you're experiencing back pain, see your doctor. It makes more sense to deal with the source of the pain rather than just masking it with painkillers. it's like putting a plaster over a pussy wound. Deal with the problem, not the symptoms!
