Well...
Personally whenever I have a hangover,
I prefer to get it all out first,
Then go to bed that way I don't wake up as sick.
Try some Alkaseltzer or peppermint tea to help soothe the stomache
Or eating something bread based to help soak up the remaining alcohol.
Hope you get to feeling better hun.

Food absorbs alcohol in your stomach. This is all you can really do, just let it subside.

Aparrently water is great for hangovers. And that would make sense, it restores your body back to how it was. And like hyper said, eat eat eat. Have a fried breakfast. An English breakfast if you want to call it that. Bacon, eggs, baked beans etc.
It'll do you good.

Yeah water. The bottled water does the trick for me. If I can't get water I'll go for coke
Edit: The entire point of eating & drinking is to help your metabolism process. For me I don't get hangovers like most people I'm just more hungry than usual xD

a hangover is de-hydration. That being said, you need to drink a lot of water, and yeah eat starchy foods.
In future, drink a pint of water before you go to bed and you probably wont wake up with a hangover, but thats if you havent drank a lot

If you don't drink then you don't get hangovers. Isn't that a cure.
Anyways, I hear a lot of people eat proteins in the morning. Water. Lots of fluids, and some meds. Advil and like she said Alkaseltzer etc. So food. Water. Meds. (say that 3x fast)

First of all the food does absorb the alcohol in your stomach and intestines. If you can eat greasy food eat it so it will coat the lining of your stomach and intestines and keep it from absorbing as much. And the fatty food will also go through the digestive tract faster.

OK drinking the bottled water is good for you because it will hydrate your body. Coke has caffeine and it is diuretic and it will cause you to lose more water. The cause of the headache when you have a hangover is you brain is dehydrated.

OK mixing ibuprofen and alcohol is never a good idea, because alcohol and Ibuprofen are both metabolized in the liver. This causes you liver to work harder and can cause liver failure.
The thing to does is drink lots of water while you are drinking and if you can use fruit juices as mixers instead of soft drinks.

umm don't drink so much you need your stomach pumped, thats just stupid. Theres a fine line between being hammered and so hammered you need medical attention. Use some sence.

yea you only get your stomach pumped from alcohol when you have alcohol posing and that would be the same night you drank it, not the hangover. a hangover is simply dehydration.

It doesn't really ABSORB the alcohol, it just slows the absorption rate.
