Ok, so sometimes I get these urges. Now I would never, EVER dream of killing anyone, but sometimes it makes me smile to think of blowing someone or somethings brains all over the place. I know this is morally wrong, but I can't help it. Is there anything I can do about this?

Well, it depends on how strong these feelings are. I think almost everyone has the occasional idle thought like that, especially if someone is bothering them. Like my mom and I have a running joke whenever we have to stop for pedestrians - she asks me how many bonus points she gets if she can get them all at the same time. That sort of thing is completely normal, and I wouldn't consider it immoral because neither of us would even think of doing it for real. If these thoughts seem absurd to you even as you're thinking of them, then I don't see any problem with them. It only becomes a problem if they influence how your behavior at all - like if you find yourself becoming rude, angry, etc. with other people because of these thoughts.

its beyond that. In fact, I comment on extra points for them being handicapped or disabled, children. etc. I become irritable and snappy, but still, nowhere near endangering someones life.

It's perfectly human to have weird thoughts like that.
We all have them... or at least a majority,
Most just won't admit to it.
I'll admit that I've had the same type of urge before,
And myself would never act on them.

What makes it okay is your ability to let that thought go,
Not elaborate further and act on it.

If you want them to go away,
I suggest trying to have more patience and understanding.
I find the more I am like this,
The less I have those urges and thoughts.
Or simply put: just let that thought go as fast as it came.

This. And just for the record, if you ever get the urge to go out and kill somebody, please seek help. I don't believe you would do this, but if you find in the future that you want to actually go out and kill, please don't.
