So basically they're both released at the cinema's on the same date.
Saw is ALWAYS released at the end of October, it's Saw's special date! But those f***ing retards who produce High School Musical just had to release their crappy movie on the same day and try to steal Saw's thunder! Eurghh
The other thing that gets me is that everyone will be going to see HS3 instead of Saw 5 so HSM will make more money and will get better publicity if you get what i'm saying, it's totally annoying! Such a screwed up movie like HSM doesn't deserve all of that, it's the most overrated stupid film in the world and not even words can describe how much I hate HSM and everyone in it! It's turning kids into worshipping Ashley Tisdale, Disney Channel and useless f***ing pop music songs and it makes me sick :| It's completely brainwashing everyone and in my opinion, HSM has probably been created by Satan and then brought onto Earth.
Okay, so I obviously ambled on a bit too much there but still, get over it. Sorry if I "offended" anyone there. So in conclusion, I'm obviously going to go and see Saw 5 because I'm a huge fan of all Saw movies as I love gore, blood, guts, pyschopaths and Jigsaw so much :D

Tottally agree 100%
But I won't be going to see it... I've no money, and the certificates probably an 18 - meaning I'm not old enough.. but I've seen an 18 at the cinema before *ponders*

Omg I wouldn't spend a dime on HSM3. I would watch Saw V in a heartbeat.

I'm not particularly interested in either, but if I had to go with one, no doubt it'd be Saw.

Well marshki.. Im going to see Hsm3!
The saw films are horrible and I cant watch them.
And Hsm has been set to be released that day for about 6 months, I think saw tried to take its thunder.
I really like Hsm.. Its the only that seems to make me happy, the cheery songs make me giggle at the cheesiness.
(And I worship Zac Efron.. Hate Ashley Tisdale :yuck:)

Saw V in a heartbeat. No consideration to HSM3. I've been a big Saw fan ever since they came out. But, I really don't see them in the theaters. I wait for the DVD. It always builds up the suppense of me and I like that :)
And, about the brainwashing thing that HSM does, it's been that way in Disney ever sicne 2005 or 2006-ish with Hannah Montana.

Ive never seen a HSM movie, but I'm sure I would hate it from the tiny amounts ive seen of the show. And Saw just plain sucks ass. The first one was ok, but they just keep making the same movie (for the most part) over and over again. Just the fact that they can make a new one every year speaks for how low quality it really is.

Even though Im very open and like both movies, Ill be going to see saw. High school musical was stupid enough to release their movie the same night saw always comes out so they sorta rained on their parade themselves.
~So ill be going to see Saw :)

Well.. then you will never know the amazingness of it. The songs are the best part, the acting isnt really that good in it. The songs just make me smile alot.
Lol!.. I have never watched saw Tbh.. seen adverts and not liked the look. Its too gorey and scary.

If you've seen the adverts and not watched the movies then how do you know it's nothing but gore and scares? They show a very small percent of Saw V in the new trailers, and I think that's because it's a very gruesome movie.
Saw is just a simple movie. I like the story line and suspense but I could do without the language and some of the situations he puts people in.

Well the songs aren't that bad. It's just the acting in between the songs.

Nahh, I don't think so >__<
Well I've heard people sing the songs at school and tbh I feel like plunging screwdrivers into their eyeballs to make them stop >__> Pop music makes me sick to my stomach! It's TOO happy :S eurghh.
If you've never seen any of the actual Saw movies then how do you know if it's scary/gory? The adverts don't even show ANY gore or scary parts. But if you get freaked out by the adverts then God knows how you'd react to the actual movie :P
You never know, if you sat down and really watched the whole movie, you might just end up liking it :) But the only reason I love it is because I'm just as sick and twisted as Jigsaw :D aha.

gah, I'm pleased to say that I won't be wasting my money on either of them.
HSM is just pop beyond belief, waaay too americanised for me to watch.
And saw.. I'm pretty sure they'll make 10+ of them, each with nearly the exact same storyline as the last, but probably with a bit more blood.

I think that they're only making one last one after 5 then that will be the end for it.

I think it is the last one because on the Saw billboards it says "You Won't Believe How It ENDS."
Hence the word "END".
Hehe :D Oh and thanks for the pointing out FirthOfTheFifth.
