i ended up tellin my bf i sh. he said he didnt understand it but he wasnt goin to break up with me. he said it made us stronger. but he told me to stop. he said every time i cut to think of him. and you know what. its working. everytime i hold a blade or piece of glass to my skin i think of him and cant do it. but i HATE thi, i have all this built up emtion, anger, sadness, lonliness, isolation, all rolled into one and no way for it to escape. and now i feel so segregated from .. life. i feel so detached like im not here just floating. cutting makes me feel, real. i need help before i flip out...

Okay, relax.
you've obvouslly found some way to prevent yourself from cutting, however odd, it works, and that's what matters.

But, you need to find a way to relive some of your anger/frustration.
What else helps you? it's different for most people.
hint: the announcement on this forum has some REALLLY great ideas on how to help stop

Which is worse? Having support and motivation to stop harming yourself or harming yourself and hating it.

Cutting is when someone cuts themselves. Its a type of Self harm. (sh)

Just-me, Instead of turning back to cutting, I think the best thing to do would be to find another way of expressing yourself.
(Maybe drama, poetry, dance, music writing or anything else creative really)
You said you cant seem to cut anymore, because of your bf, that is really great that you have found a way of peventing it, but you need to show emotion as well, but in a healthier way.

(I was slightly hypocritical in this)

i agree with BlackenedSilver. its called art therapy, i find it really helps :] when ever im feeling sad or frustrated ect, i draw what im feeling if you get me lol. orr draw a circle and write inside it all the things you feel then scrible over it like 100 times reallly hard, might sound abit stupid but it actually helps me lol.. try it :]

The best way to resolve your feelings is different for every person: my mom exercises, my dad and brother play difficult and violent computer games (respectively speaking), my sister changes clothes. I cuddle and talk to a cat or dog. The only way to tell what works best for you is to try a bunch of things and see what gets the emotions out.

you may hate my advice but its true you may want to taalk to a parent or family member. also u could get professional help.
