I was hanging out with my GF and her best friend as usual. We were sitting outside, and my girlfriend looked on my back, and said "What is that...?" and it was fucking bird crap! I guess it was since we were sitting under a tree. They laughed, but they said it was OK, and they stopped me from leaving. She also reassured that she "loveliked" me before I left (Just a little joke word we invented).

They said it was OK, but I was sooooooo friggin embarrassed. We were talking about how my GF had liked me ever since 8th grade, and then that happened...I mean, what if she thinks I'm a nerd now or something? I finally get a girl I like that likes me back, and something stupid like that happens. God, I'm so scared, they might be laughing at me right now...

Gah, can someone here help calm me down?

Calm you down? Hmm, let's see. Well, to be perfectly honest your girlfriend and her friend are probably laughing, but at the situation and not at you. Honestly, it's a funny thing to have happened, but it's not like it was your fault or anything. It's not like you make a mistake or could have prevented it. These things happen to people all the time; you have to learn to laugh at them yourself.

I agree with avalikia. Do you honestly think that if she cares about you that she is laughing at you? No she is just laughing at the situation you are in. Think about it, no matter who you see with bird crap on them you will find it funny, even if it were CHuck Norris. . . I would laugh!

Don't worry about it dude they weren't laughing at you it was just a funny moment.
She won't dump you because of this trust me.
Best thing you can do is laugh about it or make some funny comment or something.

Don't worry if they would have wanted to make a big deal about it they would have and the fact that she's saying that she's had a crush on you since 8th grade shows you that she's not going to give you up easily. Just laugh about it and don't worry because hey shit happens.

Calm you down? From what? It sounds like a funny moment! There you are with your g/f and a bird takes a crap on you! What's not to laugh about?

Don't take it so personally, don't be so serious, have a sense of humour. She's laughing at the absudity of it, not at YOU, afterall, it wasn't your crap!

Maybe the next time you speak you can jokingly suggest you get together.....after all the birds have safely flown south for the winter.

Make a joke about it, don't personalize it.

Yeah, don't worry about it man. They were just laughing at the fact that a bird crapped on you, they weren't really laughing at YOU because it made you look stupid or anything...

And just think about it... it will give you two something to laugh about, TOGETHER, later on in life... It's all part of making those memorable moments.

Don't take it personally! Everyone has those embarrasing moments where people are laughing at what's happened. They aren't necessarily laughing at YOU.

Don't worry about it, everyone will eventually forget about it because the joke will eventually get seriously old.
You'll get over it soon :)
